Avery Elle Spring Release Blog Hop!

Hello friends!

It's time for Avery Elle's spring release, and I have a card to share with you today using the Pure Magic stamp set and coordinating dies.

I spattered a panel of white card stock with yellow ink and die it with the Pierced Banner Layers Elle-ments dies.  I stamped the sentiment onto one of the small banners included in the die set.  Next I stamped bunny and stars with Avery Elle's New Moon die ink and colored them in with Copic markers. I die cut the images using the coordinating dies and adhered them to the panel.  Finally I adhered the completed panel to an A2 notecard from the Midnight Collection

I Whale Always Love You {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

I am on the Avery Elle blog today with a fun shaker card featuring the Whale Hello stamp set and coordinating dies.

I stamped and die cut the whale and colored him using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I also stamped and die cut the tiny hearts and stamped the sentiment onto a flag die (sneaky peak of a die set that will be released next week.) :)

I set aside these items and created a shaker card using the Burst Ellements die and some pretty blue and aqua sequins.  I watercolored a panel of watercolor cardstock using Distress Ink (Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch and used that panel to seal the back of the shaker.  Once the shaker was complete, I adhered the whale, hearts and sentiment flag to the front of the card.

Happy Easter {Waffle Flower Crafts}

Hello friends,

Release week continues at Waffle Flower Crafts, and today Nina is introducing some adorable stamps and dies perfect for all your springtime crafting.

My card uses the Egg Hunt stamp set, Egg Hunt die and the Chunky Grass die to create this sweet Easter card.  Nina designed the basket liner with a slit so that you can tuck the eggs or other Easter goodies inside the basket- I love that detail!  The scalloped rectangle was die cut with the Lacey Layers die set which will be introduced tomorrow.

Be sure to stop by the Waffle Flower blog for the full introduction and all the details on these cute new products. All the products previewed this week will be available for purchase on February 24.

Thanks for stopping by!

You're Amazing {Waffle Flower Crafts}

Hello friends,

It's new release week at Waffle Flower Crafts, and today Nina is introducing word dies that coordinate with some of Waffle Flower's popular sentiment sets and the Chunky Chevron die.

I made a card using the Amazing word die  and Chunky Chevron die along with the In Every Way stamp set to create this encouragement card.

I die cut the Chevron from yellow, mint, melon and gold card stock.  I love the piercing detail in this die.  Plus it's long enough to span a card front horizontally or vertically.

I die cut "Amazing" from gold card stock and adhered it above the Chevron stripes.  I stamped and heat embossed "you're" from the In Every Way stamp set to complete the sentiment.

Well that's it for me today, but be sure to stop by the Waffle Flower blog for the full reveal of these new dies.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Fairy Happy Birthday {Avery Elle}

Hello lovelies, :)

I am on the Avery Elle blog today with a fairy sweet birthday card- perfect for anyone who believes in magic.

I stamped and die cut some clouds along with one of the little fairies from the Pixie Dust stamp set.  I colored her using one of my favorite coloring mediums these days, the Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush Zig markers.  I've had these markers for a few months, and we got off to a rough start.  After experimenting with a few different types of paper, I am happy to report that we are finally getting along better.  My favorite paper for these Zig markers is the Strathmore Bristol smooth surface pad.

I adhered the fairy and clouds to a piece of patterned paper from The Every Day collection pad, stamped the sentiment and attached the panel to a Silver Fox notecard from the Midnight Collection.  As a finishing touch, I added some sequins and a bit of sparkle to the fairy's wings using a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen. Additional supplies are listed below.

So that's all for me today.  I do hope that you can take a minute to stop by the Avery Elle blog for even more inspiration for the Avery Elle Design Team.

Sending you a bear hug {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

I am on the Avery Elle blog today with a card featuring the Beary Sweet Wishes stamp set and coordinating dies

I stamped the gummy bears on card stock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder before die cutting them.  I arranged them on a panel of white card stock that I die cut using one of the new dies that will be released later this month. ;)

I stamped the sentiment in gray ink and adhered it to a card base that I covered with a piece of patterned paper from The Everyday Collection paper pad.  My supply list is linked below.

Year of the Monkey {Waffle Flower Crafts}

Hello friends,

Next Monday, February 8, 2016 is Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Monkey.  To celebrate, I pill out some of my Waffle Flower Stamps sets and combined the Willy and Friends stamp set with the Calendar Numbers stamp set to create a Chinese New Year card.

I stamped and die cut the Willy monkey, but I exchanged his expression with Claire's. Did you know that all three monkeys in the Willy and Friends stamp set have the same size face- so you can mix and match their facial expressions.

 I stamped the remainder of the calendar numbers with red ink and added a small sentiment from the Doily Circle stamp set under the year.  I added a bit of gold and white washi tape (which is reading as black and white in my photo) to the panel and adhered it to a red card base.

Well that's it for me today.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
